Ivy Cottage was registered as a residential service for adults with learning disabilities in October 2000. It provides care and support to 10 individuals and is mixed occupancy.

Ivy Cottage is an attractive traditional two-storey property of rendered stone construction which has been substantially extended.

On the first floor there are 10 furnished bedrooms including wash basins, there are 2 shower rooms, a bathroom and there are 4 toilets.

On the ground floor there is a large equipped kitchen, a large lounge area with a conservatory extension, a dining area / seperate sitting area and 3 toilets.

There is a small garden to the front of the home and a large private garden to the rear of the home which also has a seating area and a barbeque.

There is a drive to the rear of the home for off road parking.

Ivy Croft is a bungalow adjacent to Ivy Cottage.  

This provides support for 4 adults in a supported living environment under the regulated activity of Ivy Cottage,

Ivy Croft offers an “all male” service.

There is a fully equipped communal kitchen, lounge and dining area and a utility area.

There are four fully furnished bedrooms all with en-suite, including a hand wash basin, toilet and spacious walk in shower.

There is a small garden to the front of the bungalow with a seating area and a barbeque.  There is a drive at the side and rear of the home for off road parking.

Ivy Dene was registered as a residential service for adults with learning disabilities in November 2001. It provides care and support to 10 individuals and is of a mixed occupancy.

On the ground floor there are 5 furnished bedrooms (providing ground floor accommodation) including wash basins, and a bathroom.  The remaining 5 bedrooms are on the first floor with 3 showers, a bathroom and 3 toilets.

There is a large equipped kitchen, a large lounge area with a conservatory extension, a dining room, a separate sitting / activities room and 3 toilets.

There is a large private garden to the rear of the home which also has a seating area and a barbeque.

There is a drive to the front of the home for off road parking.


Ivy Rose was registered as a residential service for adults with learning disabilities in November 2001. It provides care and support to 5 individuals and is of a mixed occupancy.  

Ivy Rose is a first floor self contained living space adjoined to and within the regulated activity of Ivy Dene

Ivy Rose has 5 bedrooms with washing facilities, a living room, a kitchen, shower room and utility room.  People who live at Ivy Rose are supported towards more increased level of independence, including having a key to the main entrance of the home, recruiting their own staff and managing their own medication, cooking and cleaning within a safe environment in preparation to move on within the community.

Ivy House


Ivy Croft

Ivy House has been sympathetically converted from a former chapel into a five bedroom residential service. This service is located next door to and is within the regulated activity if Ivy Dene

The accommodation is split over 2 floors with spacious bedrooms on the ground floor and a further 2 self contained studio apartments on the first floor.

The ground floor has been designed to provide access for people with mobility impairments and includes a lounge / dining room, en-suite wet room, kitchen and laundry facilities.

The first floor studio apartments are fully self contained with modern kitchen, washing machine, dining area, lounge, en-suite bathroom and sleeping area.

There is a training and meeting facility within the home that will provide a resource for both service users and care staff.


Ivy Mead


Ivy Cottage

Ivy Mead was registered as a residential service for adults with learning disabilities in December 2003.


House 1 accommodates 10 individuals and is of a mixed occupancy, the house is built on 2 levels. The first floor consists of 8 bedrooms all of which have individual WC and wash basins, there are 3 walk-in shower rooms and a bathroom.

On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms that have en-suite facilities including shower, WC and wash basins, these rooms offer wheelchair user access, 3 WC, 1 designed for wheelchair users and a private telephone booth.


There is a spacious lounge / dining area, a fully equipped modern kitchen, a sluice room and an activity room, all areas give access to the rear gardens.


House 2 offers a service to females; this house is also on 2 levels and accommodates 10 individual females. There are 8 bedrooms on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor.


On the ground floor there is a large open plan lounge / dining area, large modern fully equipped kitchen, Sluice room and 3 WC, 1 designed for wheelchair access and a private telephone booth.

Ivy Lodge


Ivy Cottage

Ivy Lodge was registered as a residential service for adults with learning disabilities in June 2008 It provides care and support to 10 individuals and is mixed occupancy.


House 1 - (providing accommodation for 4 adults), has a fully equipped kitchen/dining/lounge area on the ground floor together with a separate, small lounge that provides privacy for service users and their visitors.  


Outside there is a spacious garden with a smoking shelter. On the first floor there are four bedrooms.  Each of these has en suite facilities; a spacious walk in shower, toilet, wash basin and wall mounted fittings.  


There is also an additional separate communal bathroom with a bath, hand wash basin and toilet.


House 2 - (providing accommodation for 6 adults), has a large kitchen with modern fixtures, a large, open plan dining / lounge area and 2 downstairs toilets, one which is specifically designed for individuals with mobility needs.


There are two ground floor bedrooms with en-suite which are suitable for anyone with mobility needs and, as above four spacious, en suite bedrooms are located on the first floor.


Outside there is a garden area including a small vegetable plot tended by service users.
