Shane Parnell - Head of Operations

Shane joined the company in July 2013 from a National Social Care provider, where he had been Operations Manager for three years and also had the opportunity to act up as Divisional Director.

Shane has over 27 years of experience and his formative career in the social care sector, saw him hold the role of Divisional Director for a large national charity that specialised in the provision of services for people with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Dementia.

Shane is responsible for the overall day-to-day operational performance of our services, ensuring that they are outcome-focused and meeting the needs of the people that we support. He works closely with commissioners and his colleagues in Operations and Quality, giving him a broad, specialist understanding of the care sector and the issues faced by both providers and commissioners. He has a proven track record of supporting the launch of new innovative services, and assisting in the remodelling of traditional services to improve both their viability and the overall quality they offer to the people they support.

Claire Lee - Business Manager

Claire has been with Ivy Care since it was established in 2000 and has seen her own experience and career progress alongside the development of the Company.

With some 18 years experience in the Social Care Sector, Claire’s role is to support the continuing development needs of the Company in line with the Business plan, promoting the ethos and Mission Statement of the Company.  Within this role Claire will also oversee the Referral, Enquiry and Assessment systems in place across all Ivy Care Services.

Claire’s key goal will be to ensure effective and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders in order to maintain best practice in line with business growth.  

Claire’s Motivation will always be to ensure that person centred planning underpins any strategy that the company develops.
